tube mill is a series of tube machines that builds longitudinal weld seam tube with steel strips of certain width. tube mill starts by uncoil and flatten the slit steel coils into steel strips. The flattened steel strips will be inserted into the tube mill forming machine and the rollers in the tube mill will bend the strip to a round tube shape. The round tube mill machine then be sent into the weld box where the tube is welded by a high frequency or solid state welder. The tube mill be formed to expected shape (round/ square/ rectangle etc) or size in a sizing machine. Finally the tube will be cut to length and bundled.

The HG273 mill is used to manufacture of round pipe of Φ114mm-Φ273mm with thickness of 4.0mm-10mm from cold-rolled and hot-rolled coil strip by means of unclosed tubular blank with its subsequent welding into tube, edge heating by means of solid state high-frequency welder, longitudinal seam welding in rolls of tube welding machine, cooling, further sizing or shaping and on-stream cutting of endless tube in measured lengths.

The High precision tube mill has some advantages as follow:

between level roller jumps 0.01,between frame and slide clearance ≤0.02mm, frame vertical degree ≤0.05, each frame parallel degree ≤0.1mm
steel pipe diameter and roundness error≤0.08mm.

HF soild welder→sizing mill→rounghly straightening(turkey head)→cut off machine→run out table
